At this point of time, it is widely known that the Motorola X Phone is real, and is not really a high-end phone most people expected it to be. A few render images of the handset have leaked previously, but today, we have some real life pictures of the Motorola X Phone, being used by none other than Eric Schmidt.
What the leaked render images did not show is the highly curved back of the Moto X. Like the HTC One, the Motorola X Phone has extremely thin edges, with the thickness increasing in the center around the back to accommodate the camera module. Sadly, we don’t have any other information about the X Phone, except for a bunch of photos of Schmidt using it.
The Motorola X Phone is going to be a game changer, not in the high-end market, but in the mid-range Android market by offering decent specs at a killer price point. Rumored specs of the device include a 720p screen, 1/2GB of RAM, dual-core Krait processor, 16GB internal storage for a price of $329, unlocked. Motorola is expected to unveil the X Phone, along with a new line-up of DROID family for Verizon, sometime later this month.
