At its Unpacked event at IFA on 4th September, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Gear and the 2014 edition of the Galaxy Note 10.1. The Note 10.1 is a remarkable improvement from its predecessor, but most importantly, the tablet will come with some pre-loaded apps optimized for the big screen, of which one of them is the official Twitter client for Android.
It would have been a matter of just a few weeks (or months?), before Twitter would have rolled out an update for the client to bring a tablet-optimized layout for all Android tablet owners out there.
Thankfully, the folks over at AndroidNext are putting an end to your wait, and have managed to extract the APK of the tablet-optimized build of the official Twitter client from a Note 10.1, right from the IFA floors in Berlin.
The extracted APK is only meant for Android tablets, and will not work on any of the Android handsets like the Nexus 4 and Galaxy S4 etc. Until Twitter pushes out an update via the Play Store for the official Twitter client that brings with it a tablet optimized layout, using the leaked APK is your best bet to enjoy a better and saner Twitter experience on your Android tablet.
The extracted APK can be downloaded from here, and should work on Android tablets with screen =>7-inches running Ice Cream Sandwich or higher.
