Earlier today, Google started rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA update for the Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 (2013), and the Nexus 9. The update is being rolled out in stages, so it can take up to a couple of weeks to be available for all Nexus users around the globe.
You can, however, download the OTA update from below and proceed to manually sideload it on your Nexus device by following the steps mentioned here.
- Nexus 5
- Nexus 6
- Nexus 7 (2013) (Wi-Fi)
- Nexus 7 (2013) (LTE)
- Nexus 9 (Wi-Fi)
- Nexus 9 (LTE) | You must first update to the latest LMY48T build of Lollipop that was released alongside the Marshmallow update today.
Make sure that your Nexus is running the very latest version of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop (LMY48M), otherwise the above OTA zips will fail to install on your device.
The OTA ZIP file for all Nexus devices are not available at the moment, but be rest assured that we will update this article with their links as soon as they are available.
You can also flash the Android 6.0 Marshmallow factory image on your Nexus device, though it will wipe the device clean of all your data.
