In the recent few days, Google has set precedence for the direction in which it plans to move it’s user experience for televisions. It first pushed the Android TV running Nexus player into a sarlacc pit as it made it disappear from the Play Store; And now, it is offering discounts on Chromecast and Chromecast Audio in a bid to entice more users to adapt these services and port over.
Both the Chromecast and Chromecast Audio are going for a $5 discount on their $35 retail price, or what amounts to roughly 14% off. It might not seem like much of a discount, but the product has a low price point to begin with for all its offerings. There is also the occasional promo that Chromecast owners get to enjoy, such as a free Pandora trial held not too long back.
So if you have been holding out for a Chromecast, maybe this is the time to get that or the Chromecast Audio for all you audiophiles. You can buy the Chromecast and Chromecast Audio from Google’s online store.
