OnePlus co-founder and CEO Carl Pei today announced on Twitter that the Cyanogen OS 12S update for the OnePlus One has received certification from Google today, and it will start rolling out in the next few days.
OnePlus and the Cyanogen team has been excruciatingly slow in bringing Lollipop to the One. The companies had originally promised to bring Android 5.0 to the handset within 90 days of the code being available to the public. The company missed the first deadline, but promised to rollout the update by the end of February.
.@jorgepenteado CM12s just passed certification today. Thanks for the patience, expect rollout in the next few days.

To the dismay and frustration of One owners though, the company again missed the deadline and missed the following deadline of rolling out the update in late-March as well.
Since then, OnePlus has been providing its users with regular updates about the status of Cyanogen OS 12 for the OnePlus One.
It was only at the beginning of this month that OnePlus released the first build of OxygenOS — their own flavour of Android — for the One.
