Earlier this week, the CyanogenMod team released the CM11 M1 Nexus edition for all the Nexus devices currently supported in AOSP. The team then announced that it will start rolling out the CM11 nightlies by the end of this week.

True to its word, the CyanogenMod team has started rolling out the CM11 nightlies for quite a bunch of devices. This includes the different variants of Galaxy S3, HTC One, Moto X and Note 2. The full list of devices can be found here.

Don’t be disappointed if your device is not in the list. CyanogenMod device maintainers are working hard on adding support for as many devices as possible.

In terms of features, old CyanogenMod users might find the nightlies a bit lacking. However, as time passes by, the CM team will bring back all the features that we have loved them for.

Note that the current nightly build is based on Android 4.4.1, but the nightly builds for all the supported devices from tomorrow will be based on Android 4.4.1. That is if everything goes according to the plan and there are no major issues in merging the new code from Google.
