The CyanogenMod team has started rolling out their monthly ‘M’ release, based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat, containing a lot of new features, bug-fixes and support for new devices.

The highlight of CM11 M8, however, has to be the new Heads Up notification feature that the CM team unearthed last month and Google introduced in Android L.

The latest Milestone also includes support for many new devices including the Sony Xperia Z2, Xiaomi Mi2, Oppo Find 7 (QHD/non-QHD) and the OnePlus One. Apart from the bump to Android 4.4.4, the latest Milestone also contains some major bug-fixes and security patches including the one on which Towelroot is based.

You can find an unofficial change-log here with the full list of devices for which the Milestone build is rolling out here. The CM build bot is still busy churning out the builds but you can find the ones already uploaded over here.
