The CyanogenMod team, today, announced the release of the third Milestone build of CM11, based on Android 4.4 KitKat. Milestone builds from CyanogenMod is generally rolled out at the beginning of a month and mainly incorporates bug fixes and other improvements for greater stability than nightly builds. 

CM11 M3 release packs in quite a few new goodies including a new version of Trebuchet — CyanogenMod’s homescreen launcher — which has been completely re-written from scratch with icon pack support. Starting from this release, the CM team has also started working on improving the user-experience with a new version of Privacy Guard that prevent apps from auto-starting at boot and a much more simpler way of adding new tiles to QuickSettings.

There are a lot of awesome new stuff in the pipeline from the CM team including left-handed navigation bar support, additional transparency in SystemUI and more improvements to Trebuchet etc.

CyanogenMod 11 M3 builds are already available for download over at CM’s download page for 50+ devices. If you are currently using the previous milestone version of CM11, you can simply install the latest milestone without wiping anything.
