The CyanogenMod team has started rolling out the M12 build of CyanogenMod for all their supported devices. The release focuses more towards stability and security fixes and is “less heavy on features. (https://www.almostthererescue.org) ”

On the security front, the CM11 M12 build includes the new upstream patches from Google for the POODLE vulnerability in SSLv3. This is a pretty serious security issue and CyanogenMod strongly encourages its users to update their devices to the latest M build.

Other notable changes in the latest release include improvements for multi-sim devices and “similar polishes of improvements and features throughout the system.”

If you are on a previous CM11 ‘M’ build you will automatically get a notification to update the device to the M12 build. If not, you can always download the latest build from here and flash it.
