Today, at an event in New York and London, HTC unveiled its flagship handset for the first half of 2014 — the HTC One (M8). With the One revealed, the stage is all set for another battle between Samsung and HTC to win over the heart of consumers and make them vote by their wallets for their latest and greatest flagships.
Last year, even though the HTC One (M7) did not exactly set the sales chart on fire, it did receive a lot of critical appreciation. The Galaxy S4, on the other hand, was criticized in nearly all its reviews but still managed to sell more than 30 million units within 6 months of its launch.
This year, both the companies have once again put their best bet forward, with the HTC One (M8) and Galaxy S5, and it will be interesting to see who is the ultimate winner. Until the initial reviews of both the devices are out, we bring you a quick on-paper hardware comparison of the devices to help make your pre-order decision easier.
