A month after the first Milestone build, the CyanogenMod team is ready with the second Milestone build of CM11, which is based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Compared to the first Milestone build, a lot of older features have been re-introduced in this build, along with adding support for more devices.

While there is no official change-log for the update, be rest assured that the build contains a lot of new features. At the moment, the CyanogenMod build bot is busy in churning out the Milestone build for more than 65 devices.

CyanogenMod ‘Milestone’ builds are generally released at the end or beginning of every month. They are meant for people who are looking for something that is more stable than nightlies. After adding new features, the CyanogenMod team does a code freeze a week or so before release to squash all the bugs to ensure proper stability.

Head over to the CyanogenMod’s download portal to download the M2 build for your device. Check back after a few hours if the build for your device is not yet up for download.
