Last night, a report from XDA claimed that the OnePlus 3 and 3T suffer from poor touch latency issues. The issue was corroborated by multiple OnePlus 3/3T owners, though the issue is not something that greatly affected the usability of the phone.
The poor touch latency issues lead to the OnePlus 3 and 3T from not registering very small finger movements properly. It also leads to the display not accurately registering your touch while scrolling through a long list.
Now, commenting on the issue, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei says that the company will look into the touch latency issues “soon,” but for now the company has given higher priority to the handset’s Nougat update. Considering that OnePlus has promised to roll out Android 7.0 Nougat to the OnePlus 3 and 3T before the end of this year, the company is right to focus on that update first.

Carl adds that throughout the entire lifecycle of the OnePlus 3, the company never received any such complaint from users of the handset. Keeping in mind that OnePlus has been actively working on fixing bugs on the OnePlus 3 since its launch by rolling out regular software updates, it does seem like the company has not received many complaints about poor touch latency issue on its handsets.
