According to the Taiwanese site ePrice, HTC is going to announce a successor to the Butterfly in late June called the Butterfly S. For those who don’t remember the Butterfly, it was HTC’s flagship phone between October 2012 and March 2013, the 5 inch 1080p smartphone before the One. The site isn’t exactly sure about which processor the Butterfly S will use, but they do seem to know that it’ll have an Ultrapixel camera sensor and the capacity of the battery will be increased. I’m crossing my fingers it’ll use a Snapdragon 600, but I’m not going to be upset if they end up shoving an S4 Pro in there.
They also say HTC will launch the M4 in mid-July. Just to refresh your memory, the M4 is essentially a 4.3 inch HTC One. Looks the same as the One, sounds the same as the One, it even has the same specs. What’s different is the screen size (obviously) and resolution: 720p.
And lastly, ePrice says HTC will introduce two new One colors: red and blue. Everyone has been dying to see these things when they were first rumored. The guys at Pocket-lint have even managed to get their hands on a blue unit. I’m not too crazy about the new colors, but maybe I’ll change my mind once I play with them at my local electronics store.
Update: Pocket-lint says the photo above is a mock up.
