T-Mobile, the Un-carrier, today announced a promotional scheme for Google Pixel owners. Under the scheme, the Un-carrier will give you 50 percent back off ($325) on the retail price of the handset provided you sign up for T-Mobile ONE.

To take advantage of the offer, one need to purchase their unlocked Pixel through Google Store or any other retail and then proceed to sign up for T-Mobile One. Once you have uploaded the proof of purchase on T-Mobile’s validation website, you will automatically receive a $13.55 credit to your monthly bill for 24 months. As a part of T-Mobile’s One subscription plan, Pixel owners will also receive unlimited high-speed 4G LTE data, calls, and texting facilities.

“Don’t let the ‘exclusive’ advertisements fool you, the Pixel phone is tested and proven to be fantastic on our lightning fast network, and we want to help you get the best of both worlds!” said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile. “I’m a huge fan of what Google has done with the Pixel and now consumers can use it the way it should be used – with truly unlimited data on the fastest 4G LTE network in America!”

The Pixel and Pixel XL can be purchased either unlocked through Google’s Store at their full retail price or through Verizon in monthly installment plans. By offering customers the option to get the handset for half its retail price, T-Mobile sure will be able to entice many potential Pixel owners to its network. However, since the $325 discount will be credited to one’s bill over a period of 24 months, it also means that you will have to lock yourself down into a contract with the Un-carrier for that duration.
