Moto X+1 Brazilian retailer leak

On August 21, one final leak from the prolific @evleaks account showcased what we could expect to see with the Moto X+1, Motorola’s upcoming hero device and successor to the successful Moto X from 2013. Now, a new leak from a Brazilian retailer has shed some light on a few key specs, which corroborates previous rumors, as well as gives us a clue to what’s new for customization options.

This time around, the leaked information comes from Brazilian retailer Livraria Logos, and surfaced by Droid-Life. The retailer’s page showcases not only the Moto X+1, but also the Moto G (which is listed as the Moto Titan, the rumored codename for the handset). As far as specs go, the page has the Moto X+1 listed with a 5.2-inch “HD display,” with a 2.2Ghz quad-core processor. There’s also a 13-megapixel camera on the back, with 16GB of built-in storage, 2GB of RAM, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

As for the Moto G2 (Moto Titan), that’s listed as having a 5-inch “HD” display, with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. It will reportedly feature an 8-megapixel camera, 16GB of built-in storage, and 1GB of RAM. It will also launch with Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

What’s most noteworthy, perhaps, is that Motorola is apparently going to include leather backs for their upcoming Moto X. The listing also says that the Moto X+1 will have a black back, as well as a bamboo battery cover, which lines up with the leak showcased yesterday.

Everything seems to be coming together. Motorola will unveil the Moto X+1, the Moto G2 and (again) the Moto 360 at an event in Chicago on September 4. Are you excited?
