BlackBerry and AT&T have held close ties for a bit of time now, and it looks like the two companies will be working with one another again for another high-brow handset.

According to serial leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks), the Android-based BlackBerry-branded slider that was rumored earlier in the month is indeed on the way, and AT&T will be the exclusive carrier at launch. The device is referred to as the “BlackBerry Venice,” but it’s likely that that title is just a codename, and won’t be the final brand whenever it does finally get released.

The slider will reportedly feature a touchscreen, as one might expect these days, but also a physical keyboard. The slider form factor would certainly be an interesting choice, seeing as it’s been quite some time since that style has seen the light of day.
