The blue HTC One, which we know is coming to the UK, is also going to come to the USA on September 15th via Best Buy of all channels. They’re going to be the one and only place where you’ll be able to buy the phone, which isn’t really a bad thing since there are Best Buy stores all over the country. And more importantly, the phone isn’t going to be locked down to one particular operator. It’ll support AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon, which is awesome. Pricing information hasn’t been unveiled, though I would imagine it’ll require a two year contract.

Should you still buy the HTC One considering that it’s about half a year old now? This is a very hard question to answer since three super important phones are going to launch this month: Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3, LG’s G2, and Apple’s iPhone 5S. It’s also widely assumed that the next Nexus will launch in October. If you’re the type of person who buys a phone and then holds onto it for two years, then I’m going to have to say forget about the One.

But if on the other hand you’re an HTC fan, you want the best sounding smartphone on the planet, and you want to stand out with something that’ll likely be very unique, then the blue HTC One is perfect.
