Right now, the set-top box that is the Nexus Player is available from the Google Store for $79.00. IF that’s still too pricy for you, Best Buy has you covered.

The big box retailer has just launched a sale of Google’s Nexus-branded set-top box, which drops the price down to $49.99. That effectively cuts the price down in half from its normal asking price, and, as mentioned above, a worthwhile discount from the current asking price on the Google Store.

The Nexus Player currently runs Android 5.1.1 by way of Android TV, and it will be getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow as soon as the public launch happens later this year. For those that want to play some games on the box, Best Buy is also offering a discount on the ASUS wireless gamepad, which normally retails for $39.99, now available for $29.99.

If you don’t already own a Nexus Player, do you plan on picking one up now?
