BlackBerry has started rolling out a major update for its messaging service — BBM — across all major mobile platforms, including iOS and Android. The update for the Android version adds Lollipop compatibility along with other some most requested features from users like support for stickers in a group chat.
The update also enhances the timed messages feature — allowing BBM users to send messages that can now last up to 60 seconds. Additionally, timed messages and pictures can be viewed multiple times before the timer expires.
BlackBerry has also added Lollipop support to BBM with this update, though the app’s UI is still reminiscent of its BlackBerry 10 counterpart. The app now also features a brand new landscape mode, and notifications for pictures being delivered and viewed by the recipient.
For a limited period of time, BlackBerry is also offering all the stickers packs for BBM for only $0.99.
