The Oneus 3 leaks are starting to drip out. 

Blass of “evleaks” fame dropped a few details on Twitter that give us a look at what will be powering the next Oneus phone:

On the one h 1080p doesn’t sound that exciting, particularly with a 5.5-inch display. Most high-end phones with screens that size now have quad-HD displays. Oneus tries to straddle the line between budget performance, but with so many other delightful phones out there the price will need to be right.

Interestingly, the screenshot is from a build of Android N. It’s possible that the phone could launch with the next version of ’s operating system, but it would be hitting it really close to when the final build is supposed to be wrapped up. rhaps the phone will officially support ‘s Android N beta?

The Oneus 3 launch is coming soon, as the company announced it will begin sales from a virtual reality storefront in space. 

y this matters: There’s no indication if this is an D or OD screen, but if it’s the former it wouldn’t be compatible with ’s Daydream VR specifications (which require a low-persistence display). ed, no current phone is compatible either—compatible phones won’t launch until the fall. But it’s something to think about if you like your phone to have some degree of future-proofing.
