Audible app integrates with Android Auto for easier listening while on the road

Your next cruise down the highway may be more enjoyable if you have Amazon’s Audible app Android Auto.

The audiobook app now works with ’s car interface so you can more easily fire up a book use the Android Auto interface to control playback. 

The update allows you to fine tune playback speed between .5x 3x skip forward back through the different sections of your book. Audible will appear with your list of media apps in the Android Auto interface. The Android app also puts your wish list, best sellers, categories, pre-orders in a more prominent spot.

y this matters: ile Android Auto doesn’t have a huge footprint yet, multiple car manufacturers have announced plans to bring it to existing new vehicles. The ability to control your music or audiobook through the Android Auto interface will be more convenient help you keep your eyes on the road since there’s no need to fumble for your phone.
