There’s always some company doing something extraordinarily odd or different with Android. At CES, Toucht is demonstrating the ve, a device that hooks on to the top of your television turns it into a giant Android tablet. The device connects to any TV with HDMI uses a mix of infrared technology, sensors, what Toucht calls its ght ocessing Unit (U) to track your finger movements on screen. You can also add on a camera dual-stereo microphones for video chats.
The Toucht ve uses its own launcher on top of Android KitKat offers full access to the ay Store. The company said it’s still working on some of the logistics of the interface before the product goes on sale later this year.
The ve will be available for $199 this spring, with the option to add on the ve camera microphone for a mere $39. You can find out more about the gadget at its official Indiegogo page.
