Android y is still trying to convince you to reach for their phone instead of your wallet.
Toward that effort, has pushed out some fixes new features in version 1.1 of the Android y app.
There’s evidence that mobile payments have yet to really take off (it’s a fairly new technology, after all), so has added in a brief animation that describes how you actually use the thing. You can get to it from the overflow (top right) menu, where you select How to pay.

The most pesky bug that squashed was preventing some from accessing their loyalty cards imported from llet. The update should resolve this.
To further help those new to mobile payments, there’s a new See participating banks button, which zips you to the Android y site in Chrome. From there you can peruse who has signed on to support ’s payments solution.
Version 1.1 is rolling out through the ay Store, or you can grab it from A Mirror.
y this matters: th many people yet to try out the mobile payment solution on their phone, bug fixes become all the more important. For those who are iffy about this tech in the first place, a glitchy experience could turn them off completely. Android y is still pretty new, so expect more fixes features to come your way.
