Samsung y is here in beta form, you can sign up for a trial as long as you meet meet specific banking network requirements.

If you have a Galaxy S6, S6 ge, S6 ge+, or Note 5 you can head to the Samsung y site sign up to be a tester. 

ong with the right hardware, you need to have a Samsung account a Visa or MasterCard issued by Bank of America, U.S. Bank, Merrill nch, U.S. Trust, or Elan Financial. Verizon still isn’t on board, as the only supported carriers are AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular.

Once you sign up, Samsung says you’ll get an email notification if you’re in the program. Then you’ll get further instructions about getting going with Samsung y on your device.

The story behind the story: Samsung really played up its mobile payment solution when launching its all-glass–metal Galaxy S6 S6 ge. Samsung y’s big differentiator is that supports both NFC magnetic stripe card readers. The whole mobile payments system on Android is in flux, with set to roll out Android y soon, bumping aside llet.
