The Galaxy Note 5 may get a B-C port, which would give you blazing fast data transfer speeds kill the flip-the-cord game to charge it.
Korean news site Naver broke the news, though there isn’t firm evidence yet that Samsung has finalized this. If the company goes this direction, you’d get the B-C advantage of a small, reversible plug, fast transfer rate, high power delivery for fast charging.
The report also drops a few specs, hinting the phablet will have either a 2K or 4K Super AMOD display, octa-core Exynos 7422 processor a 4100mAh battery. A 4K display would be a big leap forward ( possibly unnecessarily high-res expensive), but a big 4100mAh battery is huge, welcome.
The story behind the story: The Galaxy Note 4 is a great device, given how well the Galaxy S6 ge turned out we’re optimistic about what Samsung could pull off. Despite some other rumors about an early release, we expect Samsung to stick to its usual schedule show off its successor at the IFA conference in Berlin this fall.
