Sony’s newest smartphone is all about the selfie. The Xperia C4 will have a 5Mfront camera with a 25mm wide-angle lens that uses HDR technology, which combines multiple shots with software processing to give you a better image.
Sony’s combined those features with software that can put your face on the Mona sa perform other camera tricks for all your self-portraits. It may seem gimmicky, but that seems to be how Sony is marketing the phone’s photo features.
You can also get the phone with a dual sim card slot, which Sony has appropriately named the Xperia C4 Dual.
The other specs include a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 13Mrear-facing camera, a 2600mAh battery. It ships with a 1.7 GHz Octa-core processor (unspecified) Android llipop.
The phones will be available in “select markets” in ne. There’s also no word yet on pricing.
y this matters: Sony is back with another phone, though it doesn’t look like this will be the one to burst into the U.S. market. Unless you really want wide-angle selfies, we’d recommend the Galaxy S6 as the tops in the camera department, though the G4 also looks promising. The specs make it seem like the Xperia C2 will aim for the lower end of the market.
