The Xperia Z3 may have just been announced confirmed only for T-Mobile, but according to a report by Mag, Verizon is set to get the phone as well. Or, at least a variant of it, labeled the Xperia Z3v.
Sony has had a hit or miss relationship with U.S. carriers over the past few years. The first Xperia smartphones were available on AT&T for a time, Verizon reless even picked up the sadly underwhelming Xperia ay in 2011. After that, Sony smartphones through a carrier were a rarity until the Z series was released on T-Mobile. Things haven’t gotten much better for Sony, but that might change this year.
The Xperia Z3 shares a lot in common with its predecessor, the Xperia Z2, but the changes are enough to get excited for. For starters, it’s the first phone to support 4 Remote ay. And with a refined design a impressive camera enhancements, the Z3 is the phone many people have been wanting from Sony for a while, luckily, it may be readily available.
ile a Verizon reless release has not been officially confirmed, the Z3 has been rumored to come to Sprint as well. If Sony’s latest greatest finds a home on three of the four major U.S. carriers, it will be the biggest release of an Xperia smartphone for the country, a big win for Sony.
