Zumobi Network’s SportingNews o Football is a full-featured football news app. Its interface is simple nicely laid out, it manages to pack a lot of information onto each screen without overwhelming you.
en you first run the app, you’ll want to head over to the Settings menu: There you can specify your favorite teams (they’re listed by conference), turn on news notifications, learn about SportingNews the Zumobi Network, or send feedback.
Once you select your favorite teams, you’ll get information about their win/loss records their latest games on the main screen. If you have picked more than one team, you can tap an arrow button to scroll through your teams. To get more details on a team, just tap its info box to go directly to its “home page.” Each team’s home page features the team’s schedule, roster, news, Twitter feed.
SportingNews o Football’s main screen offers more than just quick stats on your top teams, though: It also displays the latest league news, it has buttons for scores, stings, teams, stats, leaders (a weekly stats leaderboard), Twitter (which brings up the SportingNews NFTwitter feed).
It sounds pretty straightforward, it is. This is one of the better football apps I’ve seen, because all of the information is quick easy to find. us, it’s nice to be able to keep up on Twitter news as well as regular news. One caveat: The app is a little slow, it has a lot of ads. But if you’re looking for a good football app, look no further.
