Known for its inexpensive Android tablets, Archos is looking to expand its product lineup in the coming year with a series of connected devices for your home and your self. In the household category, Archos plans to release several new connected home devices including cameras, motion detectors, smart plugs for interior lights and more. The devices will be controlled through Archos Smart Home App and can work in tandem, allowing you turn on a light when motion is detected at the doorway.  There’s also a Weather Station in the the works that’ll allow you to monitor environmental parameters like CO2 levels, humidity, temperature, atmospheric pressure and more in your surroundings.

On the more personal side are Archos’ new connected self devices that include a scale, an activity tracker and a blood pressure monitor. Each of these personal devices will be connected via Archos’ Connected Self app. Archos also plans to take on the Pebble smartwatch with its own smartwatch, that connects to both iOS and Android devices. Keeping with Archos’ reputation for affordable devices, the smartwatch will cost less than $50.

All of Archos’ devices will be unveiled in detail at CES 2014, which starts next week in Las Vegas.
