Samsung and Apple may have amicably settled matters outside the court in most of the regions of the world, but the companies are still battling it out in the United States court over patent infringement.

In one such case, Apple requested US District Judge Lucy Koh to impose a ban on Samsung products, was denied by the court to Samsung’s respite.

According to the judge, Apple could not prove a link between its claim of “irreparable harm” and the Samsung products infringing its patent, which meant that banning Samsung products in the United States made no sense.

Samsung was happy with the end result and promised that it would be bringing its wide range of innovative products to the U.S shores for American consumers.
