According to a court filing reported by Bloomberg, Apple and Samsung have agreed to use a mediator to help resolve their patent dispute. The legal battle between the two technology companies has played out in a California court room for the past several years. The mediation session will take place sometime on or before February 19th. According to the filing, both Apple CEO Tim Cook and Samsung CEO Oh-Hyun Kwon will be in attendance along with their in-house legal teams. This isn’t the first time the two CEOs met to discuss their patent dispute. The pair gathered at a court-appointed meeting in early 2012 that did little to settle the dispute.

Hopefully, this session will lead to a settlement that’ll put an end to this ongoing legal battle. If a settlement cannot be reached, then the two companies will go head to head again in March.
