Last month, when Google released the latest batch of Android distribution numbers, it was the first time Android 5.0 Lollipop had managed to land on the pie chart.

Now, in March’s distribution totals, Android 5.0 Lollipop continues to show adoption at a quick pace, increasing a total of 1.7% in just a month’s time. Interestingly enough, Android 4.4 KitKat actually managed to get a bit of a boost as well.

Breaking it down, Android 5.0 Lollipop rose to 3.3% in March, based on data collected over a 7-day period ending on Monday, March 2 from active devices accessing the Google Play Store. To compare, in February 2015, Android 5.0 Lollipop was only at 1.6%. Android 4.4 KitKat also rose a bit, up to 40.9 percent, when in February it was at 39.7%.

Android 4.1-4.3 Jelly Bean is now at 42.6 percent of activate devices, while last month those numbers were at 44.5%. Finally, Android 4.0.x Ice Cream Sandwich resides at 5.9%, down from 6.4 percent one month ago.
