At least one feature baked into the current version of Android Wear is getting the axe once Android Wear 2.0 arrives.
In a recent update to the Android Wear app, Google has made it official that it plans on shutting down the Together feature on September 30. According to the company there are plenty of features within Android Wear 2.0 that reflect those found in Together, so they don’t feel the need to have a dedicated app any longer.
Together, for those who don’t know, allowed Android Wear owners to equip a dedicated watch face, and then send friends nearby with the same watch face equipped to send sketches, emoji, and more.
Are you sad to hear that Together will be getting the axe?
