Yesterday, Google started pushing the Android 4.4.3 source code to AOSP and uploaded the factory images for all the supported Nexus devices. However, the OTA update was still missing for the Nexus as well as the Google Play edition devices.

Now, owners of Google Play edition HTC One (M7), M8 and Sony Z Ultra on XDA forums are reporting that the 150MB+ OTA update has finally landed on their devices.

Some Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013) owners are also reporting that they have received the OTA update on their devices. It looks like Google is yet to start rolling out the update on a wider scale, which should happen within a few days from now.

The Android 4.4.3 update does not bring any major changes or enhancements, except for the Dialer and People’s app receiving a small UI overhaul. It is mostly a bug-fixing release aimed at squashing those minor niggles and tightening up the corners.

HTC has also uploaded the kernel source for this update for the One M7 and M8 devices, allowing developers to start churning out custom kernels for them.
