Today is the day for Pixel smartphone, tablet, and some Nexus-branded smartphone owners out there.

Google has officially updated its factory images and over-the-air (OTA) updates pages to reflect the arrival of Android 7.1.1 for a variety of different devices. That includes the Pixel, the Pixel XL, Pixel C tablet, along with the Nexus 9, Nexus 6P, and the Nexus 5X. Each device is getting upgraded to Android 7.1.1 beginning today, with the NMF26 banner.

With the new software, those that aren’t already running a Pixel smartphone will get updated to that device’s latest features (which saw the light of day with Android 7.1 earlier this year). That includes round icons, support for app shortcuts when long-pressing on an icon, and some other additions.

It’s worth noting that the Pixel smartphones are still the only smartphones equipped with Assistant, so be aware of that. And also, those who picked up a Pixel phone for Verizon, the update is rolling out for those devices as well.

Are you looking forward to upgrading your devices?
