Cyanogen Inc. took to Twitter yesterday to announce that the Lollipop build for the OnePlus One has entered the Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering stage.
Under this stage, Cyanogen Inc. will be working with third-party partners and Google to get the neccessary certification for CM12S.

If everything is fine with the build, Cyanogen Inc. will be able to start rolling out CM12S, which is based on Android 5.0.2, for the OnePlus One. If not, they will have to make the changes outlined by their partners and then again try to get the software certified for GMS, which means an additional few weeks of delay in rolling out the update.
Compared to normal CM12 nightlies, CyanogenMod 12S is more stable and packs more proprietary features. It also has to conform to certain rules and regulations and must pass all the testing from third-party partners and even Google before it is ready for a roll out.
Cyanogen Inc. has failed to keep up its promise of rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the OnePlus One within 90 days from the code being released by Google.
