Google started rolling out the Lollipop OTA and uploaded the factory images for all Nexus handsets, except for the Nexus 4. One of the Android engineers at Google, Sascha Prüter, today posted on Google+ that the Lollipop update for the Nexus 4 has been “locked and loaded.”
The Nexus 4 will be getting a slightly different build of Lollipop compared to what the Nexus 5, Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 run on. While Sascha did not provide any estimated time frame as to when the OTA update will start rolling out, he did state that it should be sometime “soon.”
Google is also yet to start rolling out the Lollipop OTA update and upload the factory images for the 3G variants of the 2012 and 2013 Nexus 7.
