Late last month, Motorola surprised Moto G owners in the USA by rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for their devices ahead of schedule. Now, its time for the Moto G owners in the United Kingdom to enjoy some KitKat goodness on their device.
The Android 4.4.2 update for the Moto G includes all the KitKat goodies including immersive mode, system-wide emoji support, restyled navigation and status bar and more.

Printing documents and pictures | Added support for printing photos, Google Docs, Gmail messages and other content via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and hosted services such as Google Cloud Print and HP ePrinters. |
Hangouts – SMS/MMS support | Incorporated a new version of Google Hangouts that supports integrated SMS/MMS messaging. Hangouts can be set as the default SMS app under Settings > Wireless > Default SMS app. |
Accessory support | Added support for Square credit card reader. |
The OTA update should land on your phone sometime soon. If you cannot wait, you can manually pull the update as well by going into Settings -> About Phone -> System Updates.
The phone should prompt you that a new OTA update is available. Tap ‘Download’ followed by ‘Install’ after the download has completed to install the KitKat update on your Moto G.
