It is all but known that Google will be bringing a slight visual refresh with Android 4.4 KitKat. All the leaks until now have pointed towards a re-designed status bar, transparent navigation bar, home screen and app drawer. Now, the folks over at Android Police have been tipped about the potential features of the new launcher in KitKat. 

The rumors and tip suggest that Google will be calling the new launcher – Google Experience – and it will be one of the most highlighted feature of KitKat. The new launcher is going to include quite a few enhancements, including as previously leaked, a dedicated home screen to Google Now/Search, a one-touch button to set a reminder in Google Now, unlimited home screens, and unlimited app folders with unlimited app shortcuts inside them.

The transparent status and navigation bar, as seen from the leaked images, will also be a part of the new launcher. Android Police also suggests that this new launcher will be available on the Play Store, because of the package name and KitKat’s tagline of bringing “an amazing Android experience available for everybody.”
