Surprise surprise! Less than a week after Google released Android 4.4 KitKat, an Android 4.4 based firmware for the Moto X has leaked online.

The leaked firmware is meant for the T-Mobile variant of the handset, and early report suggests that the firmware works flawlessly as well. The firmware has leaked just an hour ago so details about what all new features it includes are scarce.

Anyways, if you own a Moto X and feel like flashing the firmware, make sure to do a full wipe manually. There are some issues with the script included in the ROM, and it does not wipe the system or data partition properly. Without a fresh wipe, you are bound to run into network issues.

Head over to this page for the download link of the firmware and feedback from other Moto X owners.
