A couple of weeks ago, the folks over at SamMobile leaked an Android 4.3 firmware for the Galaxy S4. The firmware was still under development and had a few bugs. Today, they are back with another 4.3 leak for the Galaxy S4 with a near-final build.

The new leak does not bring any new major feature or enhancements, but contains quite a lot of minor new additions. Below are the changes noticed by Galaxy S4 owners who were brave enough to try the leaked firmware -:

  • Much more smoother compared to Android 4.2 and the previously leaked 4.3 firmware
  • OpenGL ES 3.0 support
  • ANT+ Support
  • Support for Galaxy Gear
  • New keyboard layout
  • Fullscreen mode for stock browser by default
  • Samsung Wallet and Samsung KNOX are included
  • Reading Mode
  • Slightly higher free internal storage

Keep in mind that the leaked firmware is only for the I9505 (Qualcomm) variant of the Galaxy S4, and not the Exynos variant. Samsung is expected to roll-out the final Android 4.3 update for the Galaxy S4 by the end of October.

If you are feeling brave enough to flash the firmware, head over to this XDA thread for the download link and instructions.
