Yesterday, the folks over at SamMobile released a still in development Android 4.3 firmware for the Galaxy S4. Now, less than 24 hours later, a tinhte.vn forum member has leaked an under development Android 4.3 firmware for the Galaxy Note 2. While the leaked Android 4.3 firmware for the Galaxy S4 did not bring much to the table, the Note 2’s firmware is packed with a lot of new goodies. Samsung has updated the TouchWIZ interface on the firmware to make it similar to that of the Galaxy S4 and Note 3’s UI. This includes the much hated tabbed UI for Settings, Samsung Wallet, KNOX, and the new Messaging, Clock, Calculator apps from the Galaxy S4.
The Android 4.3 update for the Note 2 is still under development, and is not expected to be available before this year’s end. Considering this is among the first development firmware for the Note 2, Samsung may add or remove features before the final firmware is available.
A flashable package of the firmware is already up for download for the N7100, but keep in mind that it might be ridden with bugs so proceed with caution.
