One of the handy little features on the Galaxy S5 is its toolbox feature. The toolbox is a small floating circle that will be always present on your screen, if enabled, and can be dragged around freely. Tapping the circle will provide users with quick access to any of their pre-specified apps. Sadly, this list is only limited to five apps, which might not be sufficient for everyone.
Thanks to a new app on the Play Store — S5 Toolbox Addon — users can now add more apps to this toolbox without the need to root their device. Technically, the app allows users to add unlimited number of apps to the toolbox but DPI issues will prevent users from viewing more than 12 shortcuts.
Either ways, a jump of 12 from 5 shortcuts should be more than enough for must users. The app will work on all the different variants of the Galaxy S5 without a hitch. The app is pretty simple to use as well: Simply open it and select the list of apps that you want to be displayed on the toolbox and save it. Your changes will then automatically be applied.
