There was an active shooting at YouTube’s headquarters in San Bruno, California earlier today. Thankfully, only four people were injured in the shooting, with no fatalities being reported.

Police have confirmed that the female shooter, Nasim Aghdam, killed herself after the shootings. She used a handgun for the shooting and then used the same gun to kill herself afterward. At the moment, the motive behind the shooting is unclear.

Of the four people injured, San Francisco General Hospital said that one man was in critical condition, while another 32-year-old woman was in serious condition.

The situation was contained thanks to a speedy response from the law enforcement agency who reached the scene within 2 minutes of the first 911 call being made. YouTubers inside the building were also quick to run away to safety with others, with hundreds other evacuating the building as soon as possible.

“We have four victims who have all been transported for gunshot related injuries and we have one suspect who is deceased inside the building with a self-inflicted wound,” Police Chief Barberini said, “who at this time we believe to be the shooter but we are still following up on that.”
