Action Launcher Pro has always been popular for its unique new features and design. Instead of the traditional app drawer, the launcher has a unique sliding quickdrawer for much quicker access to all your installed apps along with Shutters and covers, to completely eliminate the need of widgets on your homescreen.

Today, the developer of Action Launcher Pro – Chris Lacy – has announced the headline feature of the upcoming v2.0 update of the launcher — 1-Swipe and Quickpage. Both the features are unique and have never been seen before in any other launcher or app before.

Consider Quickdrawer as a mini homescreen that can be configured to give you access to any of your desired shortcuts, widgets, a combination of both and even Shutters and covers. The 1-Swipe feature works in conjunction with Quickpage and allows quick access to quickpage and the app drawer from anywhere, even when using another app. A swipe from the right edge of the screen will give you access to quickpage, while a swipe from the left will bring up the quickdrawer.

As an added bonus, the 1-swipe and quickpage features will also work with any other launcher as well.

Right now, both the features are available only in the beta build of Action Launcher Pro, which you can grab from the Play Store after joining this beta community. Since the features are in beta, they might be buggy and you might encounter occasional glitches and crashes.
