GravityBox is undoubtedly one of the most useful Xposed modules out there. The module single handedly brings majority of the features usually found in custom ROMs to all AOSP or near stock Android running devices.

The module received an update last night that brings the hidden Heads Up notification mode feature in KitKat, recently unearthed by the CyanogenMod team, to all its users.

The developer has also enhanced the feature by adding certain enhancements including a blacklist, the ability to expand a notification, support for quiet hours and more.

Below is a quick video of the feature in action:

If you own a Nexus or a Google Play edition device and are not using Xposed framework, you are simply doing it wrong. The framework in conjunction with a plethora of modules available for it, brings tons of new features and customization options that would otherwise require users to flash a custom ROM.
