Just over a week after Google released the Android 4.4.3 update, the Paranoid Android team has released a new build of their ROM based on the latest version of KitKat. Besides this seemingly minor jump in Android version, the latest build contains the first stable version of Hover as well as the new Theme engine introduced by the CyanogenMod team.
There are minor changes to Hover behavior in this build, which is mainly based on the feedback that the PA team received from the community. This includes Hover not opening the current app in foreground in floating window mode, if the user receives any notification from the same app.
This is also the first release candidate of PA’s ROM since Google released KitKat last year. This means that users should expect less bugs and stability issues in this build.
Before you head over to download the latest build, make sure to update the bootloader, radio, Google apps and recovery of your Nexus device to the ones that Google has included with the Android 4.4.3 update. Otherwise, the PA build might fail to install or you might face some stability issues.
