Ever since the LG G3 was announced yesterday, we have seen a deluge of content regarding the South Korean manufacturer’s latest flagship. Most interesting among these is how the G3 compares against the other recent flagships we have seen from Samsung, HTC and Sony.

Before we get to the juicy part of this article, you should probably take a look at our specs comparison between these four flagships. You’ll see there that while all of these phones are considered to be top of the line, they do differ in how they approach that. Sony focuses on its camera and water-resistance, HTC on its build quality and speakers, Samsung on its fingerprint scanner and other software additions, and LG on its screen and camera improvements.

Now that the specs are out of the way, let’s check how these devices look like next to each other. First, there’s PhoneArena with a very awesome side-by-side render of all 4 devices (image at the beginning of the post). You’ll notice how, on paper, the G3 is almost the same width and length as the Sony Xperia Z2, although it boasts a 5.5″ screen compared to the Z2’s 5.2″. The G3 certainly looks like the chunkiest of the group, but still manages to remain in the same weight category as the Galaxy S5, and more than 10g lighter than the M8 or Z2.

Next up is a side-by-side collection of photos taken by AndroidCentral that compare the G3 with the rest of these flagships. While again, the closest in size is the Xperia Z2, the G3’s design feels more reminiscent of the HTC One M8 thanks to its brushed finish.

And lastly, there’s a series of three separate comparison videos by AndroidAuthority that pit the LG G3 against its competitors. There, you will see how the G3 and the Z2 are slightly ahead of the curve, with much less compromises in design or feathers than the S5 or M8. You’ll also discover how LG’s new skin compares against HTC’s much applauded Sense 6, and how the phone’s feel and finish stands against Samsung’s “glam look”ing S5.

Which of these flagships are you most interested in? Have you already bought one of them, or are you still waiting for the Prime versions of the M8 and S5 to be announced to make your decision?
