Everyone’s favorite leakster @evleaks is back with yet another snippet of info about LG’s upcoming flagship smartphone. Today, we’re getting a look at the QuickWindow feature that will be present on the LG G3 and will make things a tad more convenient for users who pair their G3 with LG’s QuickWindow folio case.
According to the leaked screenshots, the G3’s QuickWindow case will have a circular cutout, as opposed to a square window that we saw on the LG G2’s QuickWindow case. Like before, users will be able to access widgets for multiple functions – checking the date, viewing call logs, accessing various apps via shortcuts, and more – without having to open the case. LG seems to have added more widgets on the G3, though the move to a circular cutout, though visually appealing, might make things a tad less convenient in real-life usage.
The LG G3 is set to be unveiled on May 27th, and we’ll likely see its official QuickWindow case announced alongside the handset itself.
