Not to be content with an 8.3-inch tablet only, LG has gone ahead and unveiled a trio of new G Pads running Android 4.4 KitKat in 7-inch, 8-inch and 10.1-inch flavours.
The company did not reveal anything about the specifications, pricing or release date of the tablets, which is slightly odd.
The press release, however, does mention the highlights of the tablets, which are as follows:
● G Pad 7.0: Designed to be held in one hand, LG’s smallest tablet is an on-the-go entertainment hub that delivers both portability and power.
● G Pad 8.0: With its 8-inch display, LG’s mid-sized tablet offers an immersive multimedia experience and smooth multitasking.
● G Pad 10.1: With the largest display and battery, LG’s 10.1-inch tablet provides endless hours of entertainment and fun.
The press release also mentions that the tablets will be coming with some of LG’s latest proprietary UX features like QPair 2.0 and Knock Code. The former allows users to receive the notifications on their smartphone right on the G Pad via Bluetooth, while the latter allows them to unlock the screen by “knocking” a specific pattern.
LG will be unveiling more informations about these tablets at MedPI 2013, which will be held from May 13-16 in Monaco.
